Deal was via broker (both Amber & Contract cars had offers last Friday), but it’s through Stratstone ultimately . 3 left I heard on Friday. There was lovely Hyper Red car available which nearly went for . .

Wasn't all dealers when I tried, I had some hard ball thrown in to that equation locally.

20k miles never raised its head over two years either. Good effort though.
Standard deal is 6k miles per year. It was £100 more per month for 10k mikes a year

Sorry if not clear. Basically 24 payments of £1100 inc vat, no deposit, for 24 months use and 20,000 miles.

Dealer bought go for £106k when list was £151k
That’s what made the offer I guess
Thanks for confirming the actual figures on a final deal. Yep... seems like a steal to me!

I think I can help shed some light on recent Vantage deals, we have just gone with one !

Had choice of 5 vehicles , list ranging £134k to £151k all same finance cost. We took £151k car as spec was so near what we wanted.

Deal is 1x £1100 plus 23 x £1100 for 2 years 20,000 miles.

Cost to dealer was only £106k, finance was 5.9% fixed. Our PCP is fixed with option to buy at end of contract or just hand back . Plus includes first year RFL snd 5 years servicing .

In my eyes amazing deal for £150k car, paid similar for £75k BMW not that long ago.

I hope this helps
That's really quite good. Is the "hand back" valuation guaranteed? So you're protected if the car market wet into melt down and the car was only worth 60k in 2 years? If so then that's really good in my eyes.

The half arsed details I started this line of discussion from was AM Nottingham which is a Sytner franchise. wink

They called me about two weeks ago and virtually begged me to listen to the deal. I'm struggling to change from a N/A V12 to a turbo V8 but if I'd got a spare £1k per month I'd be in like a shot. Love new vantage cool

There is an option to buy at end of contract at £89k or just hand back

...... What an engine, fair play to AM for recognising what a great engine the AMG bi-turbo is and acting on it. ......

The AML / Mercedes deal was announced in July 2013 - (Dr. Bez era.)

I don't think it has ever been revealed, but presumably they had discussed the M177 engine, although it was one year later, that Mercedes publicly announced the AMG 4 litre V8 TT (M177) engine.

Congrats on your car, Jonny. A great colour choice. Enjoy.

Great deal . The option to buy might event be worth it .

Great deal . The option to buy might even be worth it .

Appears therefore to make the total cost = £115,400.

Do you think many contract users would buy the car, at the end of the 2 year rental period ?

Could be a massive gamble on the part of AML. Virtually give them away now in the hope the owners can be tempted to upgrade in two years time?

Hope it works, they are a brilliant car.

The option to buy is not a good one.

Agree, 1k / month for a new AM is a steal.
Sadly my cheapskate head still says my first AM was sold after 18 months and 12,000 miles for -2k. Second +5k, Third +3k.
Current one is finance free so costs nigh on nothing per month and I've just bought something else anyway.

I believe it’s supposed to be all dealers but some are choosing not to push it - assume the margin isn’t as good for them as “normal” sales

That's what I assumed.

Overall I'm paying a little more than the above deal quoted over two years but with an £80k residual. Three years dropped to £70k with an increase of a little over £250 a month.

AMLGH plc might be really pushing hard to get their wholesale numbers up in Q4 2019, but as you suggest, profitability presumably suffers.

Just jumped on this deal, very close to what was posted on the last page. It seemed too good to be true, especially as said the options are effectively chucked in for free. It amazed me how little the finance cost changed between a basic car and a loaded one.

I really wanted a hyper red but they didn't have any left - I also wanted the forged wheels and black pack etc so went for this - I've always loved the light blue colour on stuff from E46 M3's to the Clio 182's and older vantages.

If anyone's been to the Nottingham dealer recently, it's the car that's been in the middle of their showroom for a few weeks!

I didn't think I'd be in the market for another vantage (or ever a brand new Aston) any time soon, but I couldn't pass up on the deal. My F type has genuinely cost me around £1k a month in depreciation over the 2 years I've had it (bought secondhand!) And I have to pay for the warranty and servicing on that so even more of a no brainer!

What a great looking car . I lost £800 a month on a used F Type, a PCP on the Vantage really makes sense. There was a Hyper Red option for us but spec wasn’t ideal and low spec overall.

Enjoy your new toy.

Cheers!

Jag depreciation can beggar belief. I didn't finance mine but wish I had just so I had some kind of guaranteed value to fall back on. I had it valued in August for £27.5k which I thought was taking the mickey, however the best I can get now, a couple of months and 500 miles (!) later is £23.5k.

It's probably nearing the bottom of its curve so now would be the time to hang on, however I just can't pass up this vantage opportunity.

Anyway, this is the Aston section not Jag, it should be ready for collection on Friday!

Congratulations on a great car and a great deal. Imo that's one of the best colours far better than the reds.
