Aston Martin alternative parts

Yes, there are several of these Delphi coil packs on ebay (e.g. item 11057554570 and 336338866529) that show the RH photo version with the additional o-ring seals and with part number 0206.
However, I believe that the tube part with the seal is just a push on to the coil stem, so theoretically it should be possible to upgrade earlier versions if they are still working smoothly - assuming the tube can be obtained separately - or the original design modified.
I expect an AMG forum would provide the answer.

If these Delphi cols are anything like their O2 sensors... I recently had a Camshaft Position Sensor (or as Aston calls it a crankshaft position sensor) code on my 2013 DB9. There are 2 per cylinder head (one intake cam/one exhaust cam), and 2 more that are actually used for crankshaft position. These are Ford parts, with Ford part numbers.
The sensors are as follows:
Aston 07-85755 (Black Sensor) = Ford 1L5Z-6C315-AA 1997 Ford Ranger Crankshaft Position sensor. In US also is Dorman 907-751 or Duralast (AutoZone) SU2016. $33US vs $220US from Aston or Scuderia. There are 2 of these. on One bank it's Intake, on the other it's Exhaust due to mounting tab position.
Aston 4G43-39-10014 (Grey Sensor) = Ford 1F1E-6C315-AB Ford Taurus/Sable, 2005 Lincoln LS, Jaguar Crankshaft Position Sensor, in US is also Dorman 917-782 or Duralast SU2028 (AutoZone). $33 vs $566US from Aston or Scuderia. There are 3 of these, 2 are for the camshafts as above, the 3rd is the Rear Crankshaft position sensor.
There are also many other aftermarket makers of this as it's a basic position sensor, they can be found on Rock Auto, Amazon, and others. MASSIVE savings. I'm replacing one of each today and will report back with longer term update if anything to report.

Air Conditioning Condenser - Same part on all VH cars.
After looking on Scuderia parts I found the part number to be 9G43-19710-AA.
Aston Martin Works list it online at £610 inc VAT and the website says that it fits all VH cars.

I started to do a bit of digging and found Flying Spares list some AM parts now, including an air con condenser at £300 inc VAT.

Normally I don't like aftermarket parts so I emailed them to see who the manufacturer of their part was. They wouldn't tell me who made it stating that it was company policy not to pass on their supplier information. What they did say was it's a part that they commissioned and had manufactured for them and that it comes with a 3 year warranty.
I ordered this on Monday afternoon and it was dispatched same day with DHL on a next business day service. Unfortunately, DHL didn't fulfil the next business day bit but it was delivered yesterday afternoon.
I fitted it last night and it fitted first time, the bolt hole lined up perfectly and the pipework went straight in with no messing around. I filled the system on my car with nitrogen to 5 bar of pressure and it has held overnight so it appears to have fixed my leak. It's also painted black like the AM one is too.
I thought I'd mention this as it's half the price of a genuine one from AM, it fits perfectly and comes with 3 times the warranty of a genuine AM part.
Hope this helps save someone else from the Aston tax.
