A friend (v12v) and I will be heading down from London if anyone wants to travel down together (might be worth grouping just south of London).

I went to Simply Ford a couple of years ago in my 1968 Ford Cortina, once inside it was a good day out with a lot of cars to see and interesting folk to chat with.

Two drawbacks for me;

1) Getting in was a pain, they were allowing people to pay at the gate, and there was only one queue. So we sat in a long and very slow traffic jam to get in even though we had prepaid. And this made for a lot of old classic cars getting rather hot and bothered

2) The food choice once in was pretty rubbish. I would take a picnic if I was going again

Oh, and if it is sunny make sure you have sun cream as there is a lot of open space.

last year we arrived early , and were lucky first 30 cars straight in , agree food is typical hot dogs and chips ,,,,, but plenty of places to have a picnic in the grounds

and great taking the kids around the museum

There are no tickets available on the gate this year due to Covid, so hopefully no long queue to get in!

I have update the list and I’ve added models, mainly guessed from your profiles.

If I’ve got it incorrect, please let me know and I will alter.
