finding db7 paint code from VIN

Hi all,

A friend is restoring a db7 volante here in the gulf. Due to years of weathering it needs a full paint job. Is there any way we can work out the correct paint code from the VIN? I had a quick search but google seems full of spam or pay sites for this these days. Is there any info from an owners club etc? It's originally a gulf spec car if that makes any difference.

I think you should be able to get the original paint codes from the Aston Martin technical website. https://technicalhub.astonmartin.com/amtis/ You'll need to input your VIN and you should get the original build information including the original paint code.
