V8 vantage trim
Discussion
Hi all,
So I'm starting to move to the next stages of buying my first AM and odds are it will be a 4.3v8v
My last proper car was a Z4M coupe and after purchasing I massively regretted not doing full research on some of the rarer options. It had CSLs which were the key thing but then j discover there was a rare option for aero sills which made a huge difference to the look of the car.
I've seen a few 43v8s with the "N400 sills" which look fantastic buy it made me wonder how I could get the full.picture in terms of the aesthetic trim options or updates.
I'm keen to explore any changes to bumpers, sills, bonnets etc or just general trim levels/items that I should be aware of.
Many thanks for any advice

Have you seen Nicole Kidman now compared to how she looked originally ?
Botox and lip fillers aren’t for the Vantage in many people’s opinion, although a car with the sills etc as OE are quite acceptable.
It’s an Aston Martin and pretty much perfect out of the box. You won’t gain any street cred pimping it.

One PHer made a 4.3 look like a V12 Vantage.
Perhaps that would give you the bumpers, sills and bonnet looks that you have in mind.
Apparently changing the tailgate was difficult, but it fitted eventually.
Adding up the cost of all those parts, including wheels and tyres, must have reached a sizeable figure.
Have you considered the 4.7, which began September 2008?
Numerous minor, but significant changes.

Yeah, because Aston didn't change anything from the day 1 car to the final edition, did they - who actally gives a flying f!ck about "street cred"...Botox and lip fillers aren’t for the Vantage in many people’s opinion, although a car with the sills etc as OE are quite acceptable.

ah ok thanks that is superhelpful and exactly the sort of thing I am looking for.
I didn't realise there was a seat change in 2007 - I will look out for that.
I think the bootlid design was amended by 2007 too - with earlier cars they get dimples in the top of the boot lid due to the way they're designed. I didn't realise there was a seat change in 2007 - I will look out for that.
All you'll ever need to know. Known as thAston bible
