Vantage transaxle repairs

Hi all not been on here for a long time.
I have a question about the transaxle on my 07 Vantage .
when i pull off sometimes the gearbox makes a noise that sounds like gear chatter as if something is loose, but it only seems to do it under certain conditions.
Ihad it on the lift and had a look, if you turn one of the rear wheels you have a bit of slack say about 10 degrees.
As the car has an LSD i would think that you should have no play at all and as you turn the wheel the other one should turn straignt away?
But this not all, if you turn the wheel with a bit of gusto the noise seems to travel the full length of the transmission right to the clutch ( wondering if the clutch plate springs are loose)
Any thoughts guys and if it needs to come apart and ideas on where i can get spares plus a diagram of it would be an advantage.
