Hi,

I'm doing the coil packs on my 2009 V12, I notice the rear cylinders intake port have noticeable carbon deposit. It's worse on the rear most cylinder, 2nd rear cylinder has some and the rest of the cylinders look pretty good.
The PCV system seems to work well, there is not much oil deposit on the T-bodies. Any ideas whats causing this? Engine has 70000km and well maintained. I understand fuel grade and selection and ethanol level and oil level can all play a role but why the rear cylinders are so much worse?

Regards,
F

It was not as difficult as I expected. Having 3/8 extension with locking ends is very helpful to not drop a socket. I did not time myself but I’m guessing less than 2h to get the manifolds off. Doing it a 2nd time could be 1h may be.
