The supposed 'global electrification policy' is being promoted by a liberal political elite for their own ends.

Whether they are the CPC or Hillary Clinton, they are fascists, posing as liberals.
So they are liberals, or they're facists posing as liberals?
This thread has been amazing but clearly there's not enough aluminium foil to cover everyone's heads

Why come on to the Aston Martin bit of PH and keep banging on about electric cars? Or is it you've been barred from the multitude of other threads it appears you try to statrt ste on?

They may call themselves liberals, but not everyone is fooled by their words; their actions are eerily reminiscent of those running the CCP.
Back to the topic at hand...
Let's say we assume for a moment (not that I actually do), that electric represents an improvement over ICE.
If so, the improvement is incremental at best, because there are a lot of downsides detracting from the positives, discussed here already.
Why should we upend our transportation, economy and lives for such an incremental improvement, particularly when it weakens Western democracies as a whole, when compared to countries like India and China? Surely such a seismic change would only be warranted if we were being offered a VASTLY superior technology?
