I'll be there as great venue at brooklands. I understand over a 1,000 aston tickets sold, over 500 cars?

Was due to go, but other plans have been made and I don't fancy being in trouble with Mrs Ninja59!

I’ll see you guys there. I’ll be joining Aston Installations on their stand this year.

Only just seen this thread, I'll be there with the DB MkIII as part of the timeline celebrating 75 years since David Brown bought Aston.

Talking to the organisers last week I gather there are over 1,000 tickets sold and there may be as many as 50 pre-war Astons there too which will be amazing. With Brooklands being such an interesting place to visit it should be a good event.

Richard's photo in front of Burleigh shows my grey DB4 too. Sadly, although I have a ticket to the AMHF, the prospect on Sunday of 6+ hours in the car with the interior above blood temperature means I'm a no show I'm afraid

Kermit washed earlier in the shade of the garage today, all ready for the 200+ mile drive tomorrow and meet on Sunday. Excited to be attending and meeting you all face to face... Sadly the AMR Rapide in the background wont make the trek this year - maybe next time smile

How wonderful to have a garage with drainage where you can wash a car in the shade! cool

Hi Rich,

Hope you are fit and well.

Was that a 2014 or 2016 Burghley picture ?.

Doesn't time fly.

Cheers Ed.

For those travelling from farther afield to Brooklands, HW Motors who have a stand at Brooklands today are very close in Walton on Thames. Just take Oatlands Drive from Weybridge and they are at the far end.

The showroom is not usually open on Sundays, but there are always plenty of vehicles outside as well as peering through the windows.

I enjoy reading from Milan about those preparations, have a great time everyone!

I will be boating on the Lago Maggiore today so I cannot complain too much, but I would love to be there. smile

I will be there in a Minotaur Green DBX. It will be interesting to see how many DBXs turn up. My wife is really not keen on the heat so we may only be there for an hour or so but only a 40 minute drive for us so still worth it.

Fantastic show - never seen so many Aston Martins in one place. We got to hear the Bulldog starting up, meet Paddy and talk to him about coating my DBX and saw the famous Kermit. All boxes ticked in 90 minutes and then we headed home before we melted ! Would definitely go again.

Was a great event and well done to the organisers, we stuck it out to about 2:30pm but it was certainly a hot one. I reckon there may have been even more cars if we weren't in the middle of a heatwave.

Wonderful day at Brooklands. A garden party completed with Aston Martin decorations everywhere.
Hot of course, but found some shade for a rest at times. The Seagrave Cafe was a cool sanctuary.

Pleased to meet you Adam. The VH era cars seemed to be split, because the parking plan showed a different loication, but I found you.

Saw your car Richard, looking very good, but we still have not met.

I recognised the voice of Steve Waddingham, doi g a good job on commentary.

Couple of photos to give a flavour.
