The saga of Valkyrie S70139 :
It was ordered (years ago...) by a private client in France (a well known Aston Martin collector).
Eventually ready for delivery 1st quarter of 2022, the owner decided to arrange a shipment to Switzerland, via Italy.
Switzerland was chosen so no VAT would have to be paid upfront, but the car would have to stay in a vault, with no road registration.
For some reason, after 3 weeks in a vault in the Swiss mountains, S70139 was sold (with a very small premium) to Tom Hartley Jr, who arranged very quickly a shipment back to the UK.
Eventually offered for sale in August, and iit looks like it's been sold again.

Thanks for the info. Seems odd that an Aston Collector would sell such a prominent Aston though?
Could be many different reasons, including we are all getting older and priorities can suddenly change.
I liked the colour scheme of David Coultard's Valkyrie. Subdued, tasteful, understated, very Aston Martin and a nod to Scotland.
Did you notice he was wearing headphones/microphone. Perhaps the only way to hear what your passenger is trying to say !
