New Vanq 3 on the way

- 78 to be delivered in UK Q4 this year
Is that just the initial batch, or total run? Presumably the former? If so, it'll be interesting to see what pricing/demand looks like.Quite fancy adding another car this/next year but won't be able to justify one of these if the pricing is too steep (too many cars really, and nothing I want to sell, to the extent that current Vanq only came out of the garage this week for the first time this year as I've been driving others instead - including the V12VSM which I've really warmed to and been using a lot more this year).
I got to see the car in the flesh last week, very impressive. No photos allowed obviously. back to the grill - yes biggest ever seen on an Aston but it actually looks good I think. The rear ski slope from the valour I'm unsure of, it looks OK from some angles but not sure on a directly behind as it looks to be quite high. The quad exhausts also look great. I would say the side is vey similar to the new vantage, especially the vents behind front wheels.
All told I do think it's gorgeous but not sure the price is worth it, playing the configurator it's easy to go £400k plus with a few of the nicer options such as CF packs and paint. I'm told it will be at least October before a demonstrator is available

Interesting. With DB12 and new new Vantage they heavily revised the fronts and left the rears alone. With the new Vanq/DBS from what you say they have revised the rear even though there wasn't anything wrong with it. That car didn't get any criticism of its looks. I guess it goes without saying it has an ultra plush version of the new interior. All told I do think it's gorgeous but not sure the price is worth it, playing the configurator it's easy to go £400k plus with a few of the nicer options such as CF packs and paint. The reported weak points of the DBS SL were in the main just interior and traction.
Echoing another thread, early (2018-20) DBS SL now getting down much closer to GBP100k now look to be absolute bargains.

Agred,it's a bold step to change the back end so dramatically! Guess they fell in love the Valour back end or had some boot lids spare to used them on this The reported weak points of the DBS SL were in the main just interior and traction.

Therefore it appears that the pricing of the new revised core sports/GT model range, might now be taking shape.
In round figures, Including some options:-
Vantage ........ £200,000
DB12 ............. .£250,000
Vanquish ...... £400,000
Each model seems to be clearly defined by physical characteristics and separate price points.
Expect the design appearance will also be more easily distinguishable, compared to the (VH) Vantage, DB9 and DBS days.

Had a good look at the Ferrari 12 Cilindri a couple of weeks ago in Hong Kong. Very awkward looking. Not an attractive design in my opinion - 812 and F12 looked far better at launch. I couldn't wait to get away from it whereas with Aston Martin GT's they draw you in. Specifically, the new Vanquish I am certain will look outstanding.
