Aston Newbie in need of some advice
Discussion
Hey everyone, thanks so much for welcoming me to the forum with open arms, and all your enagement and advice on this post. I have struggled to keep replying to each, but every response is massively appreciated.
At the risk of oversharing, my wife has been moved into paliative care this week (she has a very aggresive form of MND and I have been her primary carere for a year). I'll be supporting her through this, and looking forward to a brighter 2025 with my son. Treating us to our dream car is part of us rebuilding and focusing on fun together, and all of your words will help support that. Thank you

MND? That's truly awful - you have my sympathy.
Another quick thought - if you can get to an AM event there are always plenty of people who are happy to talk about their cars. In fact, you may struggle to shut them up! in 2025 we have the AMOC concourse on June 7-8 at Burghley House, which is just north of Peterborough on the A1. There will also be events around the 90th birthday celebration on May 25 (More details to follow).
If you can't wait that long have a look at the AMOC event calendar at https://www.amoc.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&c...
You don't say where you are based so can't give you any more details of local events.
Regards, Steve

You don't have to join a club to talk about Astons. Big car shows like Helmingham in Suffolk have dozens of Astons. AMOC will have a stand, there will be other clubs with Astons, and many independent entries too. You coud book yourself in as an independent, then go for a wander round and meet the other owners.
