This.

Works want a ridiculous amount of money to replace the foam once used. I keep my manual in the house.

Tyre pressures may be under the filler cap?

Found the tyre pressures, upside down tucked under the bottom of the driver's door : laugh:
Spoke to Aston Installations about a couple of minor tweaks.
Machine polish/PPF/ceramic coat on 22/12/25
Then I can put some miles on it (salt permitting)

Thanks to Jack @ Finer Details Ming the Merciless now looks and sounds great.
Jacks sorted a few minor scratches and and stone chips, Paint corrected the whole car, applied PFF over the whole car and ceramic coated the whole lot including calipers and wheels. We also fitted a cccharger exhaust valve controller to keep those flaps open ALL the time wink
One minor downer, it seems Ming has been used in all conditions. More surface corrosion than I would like, especially on the rear subframe.
Nothing that can't be sorted and it is going to get used so it doesn't really matter.
Here's some pics!

The car looks even more stunning than it did before. What an excellent job they did on the vehicle.

I have never had any intention of using the original item.
That remains as an original feature of my car (well past the expiry date anyway).

I carry one of these in all my cars, but have never needed to use them.
Tyre fitters say that the Holts goo is one of only few, that can easily be removed from the inside of tyres after use, meaning sometimes the tyre can be repaired and continue in use.

Aston Martin and Porsche main dealers probably forget to mention alternatives. smile

Car looks great! Congratulations.

Having also got a Vanquish S just last month, I looked at the rear subframe and same as you - looked worse than I expected it to. Will be just surface corrosion however I expect.

I am having some preventative maintenance performed this week, with a gearbox oil/filter change and rear diff fluid too. When all that is done and rear tray is off, will have Bilt Hamber Dynax UB applied. I bought two spray cans and a tub of the grease to go on.

Maybe for next year will do it in my garage with the full 5 step treatment that can be done, however this will be good for now. Keep us posted with how you get on with yours!

I had a chat with John at DAE.
It needs looking at carefully, if the corrosion starts in on the aluminium body mounts it's game over. There is no fix for that.
Their solution is remove the subframe, strip it, hot dip galvanise it and powder coat it.
Definitely belts and braces.
But probably the right solution in the long term.
It's going down there for service soon, so I'll let them have a closer look.
