My guess is you are not rinsing it enough preferably with a pressure washer
I'm definitely rinsing with a jet washer.

Rinse it as much as you think is about right, then do the same 3 x more.

Its also possible that if you have used a wax product on top of a ceramic coat that the wax is affecting the way ceramic top up products adhere to the ceramic coat.

I have learnt - once coated with ceramic using wax is a backwards step. It undoes much of the benefit of the coating and risks introducing swirls and halos.

I have used this once, it certainly repels water and gives great beading but I didn't find it actually gave my paint a glossy shine. Having said this, all I did was spray it on while the car was wet after the final jet wash. Are you using it differently perhaps?
I spray it on the rinsed wet car and the rinse well with the pressure washer. Don’t believe it’s intended to add a lot of shine. Paint needs to be in good condition. But makes drying a breeze. You should try P&S detail spray, bead maker or dream maker, They will give your car an unbelievable shine.

Thank you all for your input. Car wash seems to be a science in itself.

Once you get into it, it’s a never ending hole where you seek the best products and best finish

Whatever you do, don’t start watching the Forensic Detailing channel on YouTube.
