Matt Armstrong's DB12: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202602240...

Seems very cheap even for a Cat S...

I bought a few raffle tickets, I thought the winner would sell it.

Not bad price for a DB12

It's seemingly not sold so I'm guessing the price isn't that far off where it should be.

I’d buy if it was repaired by Mat Armstrong take a look at how he rebuilt JWW’s 911 after a crash and Porsche even underwrote the repair! https://youtu.be/NHqaXfgtfJY?si=K_I-3nuY0xiQdzk7

I also understand that Mat Armstrong is rebuilding a Bugatti.

I've looked at it a couple of times and would consider it.

But id need to confirm if my insurers would even cover a Cat S.
Id also not pay £100k (its already been lowered once).

90k or a little under and its an ok deal IMO (bear in mind the car is a fairly basic DB12 spec - the colour is from memory a wrap, i need to go re-watch the Videos).

Edit: just watched the first video. Its a wrap (not coloured PPF) and the new bonnet (and likely any other body parts......i watched it at speed!) isnt even painted. So Id definitely want a very very good price.

You could buy a lot of very nice cars for £100k that had not been written off....

Not for me. One for the barge-pollers.

Did you have a bad experience with your DB12?

So its a wrapped written off repaired car? I doubt many insurers would be overly interested in insuring it for the full amount so you may need to negotiate a value when trying to cover it.

It's worth what someone will pay for it, and apparently, £100k is too strong.
