Had my DB7 Vantage just over a year and thought I'd report on my findings. :)

The '7 (or the 'Van' as it's sometimes referred to ) has been perfectly reliable and a joy to run :cloud9:: it has covered over 13,000 miles in the year, including several European 'Hoons, a handful of VMax events and even seen service ferrying Army party-goers around an airfield perimeter at exciting speeds.

I've had one service at a local Aston independent and whilst it isn't cheap to run, it is reasonable for £100K supercar. More importantly for me, it hasn't spent any significant time being repaired, nor running backwards and forwards to the garage having niggles fixed.

I'm even more convinced that the DB7 is a second hand performance car bargain: the silky smooth power delivery of the V12 and comfort make it the consumate GT. Sure, it's not a raw racer nor a lightweight sports car but it can hold its own in most company. ;)

Oh, and it is priceless being able to decide to "take the Aston, dear". :D

Nice one Jeremy. Glad to hear you're happy with it.
Any plans for a little spicier version in the future?

I think it will be interesting to see just how much spicier it is. Remember that I've got the Caterham for those extra-hot chilli moments.

Oh, and have I not told you that you are, in fact, buying 'my' car .....
