Went on a first date last night. It went better then I had been expecting, so I left the Mondeo in town, and we got a taxi back to her place.

This morning, I needed to drive her into work. The only option, against my better judgement (and the weather) was to take the Aston.

Her thoughts? She liked the colour, but thought the interior.....

Kitsch...

I pointd out that the car was hand built, that the interior is pure leather (or chrome), with no plastic in sight, and that each panel was built by one person, who signed the back with the cars chassis number and their signature.

"I know. But it's kitsch"

I was too polite to mention her Ford Ka

Jealousy, pure jealousy,

Point at her shoes next time, and hold mouth in comical laughteer containment mode,

possibly rolling around on floor for extra impact (out of kicking range though)

hope this helps

Have I misunderstood? You took a taxi back to her place and then you drove her to work the next morning. Why was your Aston already parked at her place??

There you have it, in a word. Out of interest ... what shades and textures did you choose?

eh? The car was built in 1971. I wasnt born until 1977. Out of interets, whats your point?

Wow, I'm impressed. You can afford a girlfriend and an Aston.

I'm still confused. You took a cab back to her place and then drove her to work in your car. Why was your car parked at her house on a first date??
