We all know that Auto Express can be a little *optimistic* with it's predictions, but the long awaited (by me at least) RS Vantage is 'rumoured' to be here as early as 07.

Yea right... but anyway - I was on to my dealer first thing to make sure I'm still top of that particular list!

Dec 7th AE says 420 bhp, 150kg lighter, lower, adjustable dampers etc etc etc.

Just wonder how much extra they would want for that ?

I would hazard a guess at 100/105k , just below the DB9

I would think the logical development would be a supercharged v8 and upgraded brakes/dampers.

I talked to my dealer about this just before Xmas. His comment regarding this was that the "had some very good information on a car that would not be rleased for 3-4 years" and it "must have come from someone fairly high up on the inside".

My responce to that was that I still wanted mine, but put my name down for one of these as well.
