And both are British! Great, isn't it?

I never heard of this bridge until I saw it on Top Gear in the piece with the Ford GT, a Ferrari and the Zonda.

I made a point to go on "pilgrimage"

The car was superb in spite of the incredible heat (when London was at 35-37 Celsius). These Astons were built to eat hundreds of miles...

I always feel very lucky and priviledged to drive her and this was a very special occasion

Awesome bridge - I'm trying to convince the Megahooners to cross it. What was the speed limit on the bridge?

The Payage from the South of France up to the bridge is fantastic, very very twisty and up hill, the racing line can be taken over 4 lanes in sections,(well you could when we did it in May) one of my favourite drives. The bridge is 120kph (I seem to remember) but you will wanna go slow and look at the view, if you did it at normal French Payage speeds you will cross it in under a minute!

What a wonderful piece of English Engineering...oh and that in the background! (Same it was an 'english' day when we were there!)

Magnicent. Always loved the look of these when they were being built in the late 80s. Would definitely form part of my Top 10 garage.

Good to read of cars like this doing the grand tours.

Fantastic. Did the same myself this summer in the Aero - along south coast then up through Millau to Claremont Ferrand. The bridge is amazing, but was dissapointed with the alck of a picnic area nearby - you'd have thought the French would have made an observation area to stop and get pics of the bridge! The peyage up to the bridge from Montpellier is fantastic driving road with some amazing twisties. Fantastic car BTW too - bet that was a comfortable place to be at speed!

but there is a pic-nic area to observe the bridge (at least this July)!

Just after the bridge (direction north) one just turns to the right... I took other pics and there was a nice parking space, a couple of offices... with a nice view

Darn - if it was there in mid june then i completely missed it. Were a lot of roadworks after the bridge when I was there so maybe turn off was concealed....

Think I'll ahve to go back - to detour through millau village and get some pictures of the bridge and the gorge from distance would be excellent too..
