Hi
This is my first post here. Im looking to get a AMV8, either buy one or lease one through my business on CONTRACT HIRE. I am VAT registered so i can claim that back to an extent as well as the payments against my taxable profits if i do a contract hire.

My question has anyone done a contract hire on the AMV8? any good companies out there?

Any advice would be great

Thanks

Hi Amar and welcome. I am also new joined about the same time i picked up my brand new V8 (sept 1st) absolutely love it, don't know the best way for you to buy it but just know you need to get one. When you have got it you need to do two things, firstly remove fuse 22 so it sounds wonderfull all the time and check out www.rabbit-run.co.uk and book your self on an amazing trip. I have done it the last three years and are booked on for 2007, there are other V8's comming too.

Regards

Craig

I looked at leasing other cars this weekend as i own a V8, it looks to cost a £1000 p/m for a min of 24 months. I think this will probably be equal to depreciation over 24 months give or take a few grand either way. The insurance isnt included in most. If i was you (at this moment in time) and wanted a V8 i'd buy a second hand one. Thats how you will do better than the leasing.

Actually craig i think you will find one less V8 and one extra Turbo on next years.

thanks for your replies guys. The advantage of leasing a car is you can claim back the VAT and the monthly installements against your taxable profits. How much depends on on the nature of the business. I run a wholesale/online business so im constantly travelling up and down the country metting suppliers.

I currently drive a RANGE ROVER SPORT, which i bough out right but love to add to that collection such as V8.

See how it goes i guess.
