How about an Aston photo thread!
Discussion
I took the girl up Mt Glorius for a brisk drive. Encountered 2 police on the way but luckily both were busy with other customers at the time. I had a souped up 120y with roll cage and wide rims and by the sound of it quite a bit of engine work. I was glad I was in the Vanquish as some of the bouncy area he was moving around quite a bit and the Aston was just cruising. It was great weather as autumn is now on its way and the temp was about 17c up there.
Here is a pic on the way back home, I often forget to take photos, there were about 50 motor bikes at the summit coffee shop.

Just got this ad in my email box, seems to be a 1 of 7 cars? it has a manual shifter, so thats for this side of the water and LHD very rare for a S version, sadly not the bucketseats and ow, expensive...

That looks lovely Rene, you should totally buy it so I see another AM on the roads over here. They're a rare sight.
Its a bit outside my budget (its a bit pricy) , and I'm not gonna sell my house I must say those automatic S type Vantage's are getting a bit more affordable, although those with the bucketseats are more rare and mostly 20-40k more asking prices if they come in the market.
I also look at the other side of the weight scale, not a 1650kg Vantage, but a 695kg Donkervoort D8 GTO-RS or GTO-40 or GYO-JD70 all with the hard doors, but those prices also stay a bit high and have to sell my car or a good trade in possibility.
but, the hunt for, is also a hobby, many cars on my bucketlist, sadly no extra garage here.

Indeed, good sized garages are quite hard to come by over here for a reasonable price (with a house thrown in). Donkervoorts look super fun, I've not seen one on the roads here but I guess most wouldn't frequent the A12. The carfection clip on them a few years back was brilliant.I must say those automatic S type Vantage's are getting a bit more affordable, although those with the bucketseats are more rare and mostly 20-40k more asking prices if they come in the market.

What is the consensus about matt paint finishes ?I saw a matt AMG GT in a Mercedes main dealer showroom.
It was by no means the most expensive car on display, but was displayed behind a temporary fence.
They said they dare not let it be rubbed by anyone, because there could be a shiny patch.
Sounds a nightmare.
Could this be a brief passing fashion ?
