I recognised her from the number plate before I saw the picture I see that picture and wonder why we ever sold it.... In my ideal world we would have a bigger garage and would still have her. Mind you Binz will definitely look after her extremely well and she will go on some fabulous drives with her new mates

Saw a new silver V8 Vantage on M42 north bound from M40 jnc' to NEC jnc' in my 'old shape' 4.7 V8 Vantage Thursday 20-12-18 @ 15.00 ish. Spotted, passed (whilst waving), let him pass as I pulled off (still waving, thumbs up etc). He saw and ignored me. Whoever the young 'dude' is with head on side you are an ignorant dick as I see it. Is this the norm' for AM drivers? Coming from bikes and TVR's it's disappointing TBH. It was probably me that looked stupid getting so excited.

That’ll be the one of the new market segment Andy Palmer and his team are working so hard to win over.

I doubt the ignorant dick knew you were also driving an aston, yours doesnt have it spelt out on the back.

Ah ah.....new market segment....I didn’t need winning over...I liked it so I bought it.....as I did with the 3 other Vantage’s I’ve owned.

Is Hereford the new AM hotbed for spotting??? Today I went past the Hereford Waitrose car park (Lidl was closed ) and there was a lovely brand new "gun metal" Vantage parked up. Standard exhaust and the DB11 type wheels. Looking very smart.

I'm starting the think the new Vantage looks best in more sober colours whereas the previous wore bright colours very well (in all fairness, it looked good in anything). Really wouldn't say "no" to the new Vantage now, if it wasn't for the DBSS.

I now know of 4 or 5 local Vantages in Hereford and the occasional older Vanquish. For a small city, we're obviously classy*

*Recently saw a topless Lamborghini Huracán through town, but us locals lit our torches and raised our pitchforks, so that shouldn't happen again!
