Update: the garage he’s been using for years is Harding Auto Services Ltd in Knaphill. They will be very familiar with a very orange, very cool FX50 ;-)
Thanks ever so much. Will get it booked in there for the new year.

They do look good in orange. I remember a few years ago waiting in a queue for the Mont Blanc tunnel and a UK plated orange one went past. Stuck with me since then, sounded lovely as well.
You’re welcome. Hope all goes well. It’s great to know there’s a small yet but active community for these cars, hopefully with enough expertise to keep them running well.

Turns out my Dad was next to this place having the wheels redone last week. He is in Woking so it couldn’t be better located.

I’ll try to get some better photos next time he brings the FX up to Norfolk.

Is the FX30 the same as the FX35 in the US?

And are things like brake discs interchangable with 370Z parts? I need to put some new rear discs on.

Hi Guys,

I would like to buy a Fx 3.0 D. I'm based in London so we have Ulez (This made me sell my f01 3.0D). Now looking at the infinity fx 3.0 D these come up as ulez free however how do they come up as ulez free when they are euro 5 (need euro 6 for diesel). I don't want to buy one and then find out that im being charged for it.

Cheers. I’ve been really chuffed with them. Fitted for a year now and no issues. Tricky to DIY (without a proper ramp that is!) but worth it for the extra width and presence they give the car from all angles.

im surprised if these are ulez free as the car tax is £600 a year.... Not that the tax has anything to do with ulez (i think) but still... its an emissions menace, so the opposite of ulez

You'll be Ross's friend ( average arms, small t shirt) wink

Luke, after a very long time, I may be persuaded to sell mine if you're still after a V8?

Has anyone found where to get the TPS programed, other than an Infiniti service centre?

Hey, with petrol prices the way they are I'm not so sure at the mo. But if you fancy sending over what you're looking for and a few details, I'd love to know a bit more. Cheers.

Mine are new ones and won’t, they need to be programmed

Luke, this is why you need a V8 ( that does north of 25mpg on a run)

We meet at last, Steve! Ross certainly has a way with words - what a charming description :-D

RE: TPS - I had mine done by Reading just before they shut. Presumably Nissan offer the reset now. I’ve taken mine to Slough for the past couple of services - think there’s a new Nissan centre in Reading now too?

Steve - great vid, proper goosebumps on acceleration :-) Do you know if the FX50 has the same 7 speed gearbox as the diesel? Those changes sounded smooth

Has anyone else had problems with squeaking suspension when going over bumps, or when turning? I can't diagnose what's causing it, and neither can the garage I eventually palmed it off to.

Super. Mines diesel. No squeaks here.

When is it doing it mainly?

I'll try and replicate to see
