Has anyone owned both the older 5spd version and the newer version with the 6spd 'box?
Various threads on here and SSOC comparing the old and new Sport.

Also see the last couple of paragraphs of this:

The consensus is that the current ZC32S is in a different league to the ZC31S for refinement. Go and try one!

Little update.

Up too 3k on clock now and it's defiantly quicker than new.

I've really fallen for the little thing.

Not amazing grip on wet due to tyre size but not bad in dry it's amazing.

All the standard extras are great and the headlights awesome

I'm considering one of these as they get such good reviews and 2012 models can be had for less than £7K now. My commutes only 12 miles across country on B roads and these look like a lot of fun!

Well I'm still pleased r12mamy and I love to moan, I'd try and get one with the nav, it's a great little system simple and affective. The DAB on it seems to be the best I've used for picking up stations.

Small update had the car almost a year now.

All is well, very happy with my little swift. In fact I can't really think of anything to complain about.

I've done 14k now needed new front tyres at 12k uhmm that's it.

The swift is going for its second service tomorrow and is almost 2 yrs old !

As a friend was asking today if im still pleased with it (hes looking at one). thought id update this.

shes now on 25,000 miles

Issues :

uhmm battery went flat in spare key, and SATNAV needed an update. I did this myself. Thats all i can think of lol

Crack in windscreen due to a stone and 2 tyres are my only expenses bar servicing.

I'm going to look at new one tomorrow whilst it gets it service but to be frank for what it costs and what it is i still really rate it.

Ask them for a test drive...it'll be interesting to hear how you find the turbo Sport.

Thread rivival !

I'm sad to report the swift is going frown.

Basically due to a family move around / change of vehicles im going to a crew cab van.

I just thought i'd post one last comment on my swift, i'll have had 7 years in Novemeber i think. I've not updated this much over the years as nothing to update. The car has been faultless. I'm genuinly upset to be selling it.

It really is a case of less is more gentlemen. bye bye swifty frown

Glad you enjoyed the Swift, I think I remember giving some encouragement seven years ago.

Can you get a black GMC crew cab with a diagonal red stripe and spoiler?
