MR2 TF300 seat corner colour change?

As you're probably aware, the seat corners on an MR2 TF300 are dark red which is cool and everything, but I prefer blue.

Would it lower the price/collectable-ness if I were to change the colour? Should I leave it as it is?

I'll be honest I'm not sure TF300s will be seen as collectible or valuable for quite some time. Even the first gens are only starting to tickle the nostalgia zones....
