Isuzu Carburettor (Nikki 21E3UE)

Hi, hoping someone can help. I realise not a car, but a Bedford 1988 .1.8 Midi which is a Japanese Isuzu Fargo re badged. I need to replace the Japanese Nikki 21E3UE Carburettor but can only locate a Carburettor for the 2.0 L engine.

Can you fit a carburettor from a 2.0 L to a 1.8 L ? I am guessing the structure and fittings are identical but you just need to adjust the settings and timings.

Is that correct or am I completely wide of the mark?

Any help would be appreciated as I would like to get mobile again soon.

A bit late, but have you spoken to Webcon? The Weber replacement catlog lists the 1.8 Bedford Midi.

Hi, thank you for the reply; I had seen the 1.8 in the catalogue and contacted them before posting here as I thought I had solved my problem, but when I got in touch Webcon said the 1.8 was end of life and no longer stocked. I am new to the world of carburetors, but I hoping I can get a carburetor similar to the one in my Isuzu and pay someone to configure it to my Van. Or than might be a wild dream
