Seems like a great car to me with essentially DC5 running gear in a more practical body but no one talks much about them?

Are they any good as they seem to have all the right ingredients? Better looking and more subtle than the UKDM cars from the 2000ish era IMO.

they're under braked (prone to warping discs), so you need to budget in for some DC5 brembos and discs...which isn't cheap!

If i needed four doors i'd have gone for one over a DC5...always liked them.

I have an Accord Euro R.

Bloody love the thing. I upgraded the front calipers to the 2-pots from the UK CH1 Accord Type R and that seems to have cured the disc warping (I warped 2 sets in about 6 months).

Currently have an Injen CAI on it (its pretty loud), and a Fujisubo exhaust system (not very loud).

But yeh, DC5 running gear with the RBC inlet for a bit more Torque. LSD, double wishbone all round, revs to about 8.5k – keeps a smile on my face smile

A mate of mine has a Euro R CL7 and had a UK ATR prior to that.

There are a handful of Euro Rs in the UK, Torque GT brought 3 in a couple of years ago, i know one lives in Bristol, one in London way plus my mates one they are pearl white - NOT championship white

It is an interesting bit of kit, you get the JDM k20 with 220hp, diff intake, a 6 speed gearbox with UKDM Ep3 ratios which mean 3rd-6th are a bit longer than an JDM EP3/DC5 plus the LSD.

I've driven it a few times and it does feel very much like a ep3/dc5 , it conceals it's extra weight well and feels very stable. More importantly it is a completely different animal to the Accord Type S that we had in the UK with the K24 engine.

Always liked the look of them. Sadly, for my purposes, they're lacking a wagon.

I've wanted a CL1 Euro R for years now. Great looking cars.
