Hey

Any mazda experts happen to know what size the washers are in picture (number 2 with R)

https://thumbsnap.com/lhWYtTEn

Apart from ringing Mazda parts tomorrow (which i am sure will be a ripoff for couple of washers), I am unable to find any hits on ebay or google. (for the 2nd gen GH 2008 model)

Thanks

InitialDave

I'd throw a dart at the board as being 10mm, but it's cheap enough to buy a selection box of different sizes to cover yourself.

Though if you have a blowtorch, heat it cherry red and let it cool, it'll probably be fine.

So mazda charge £3.44 each for those washers!! and they dont have size information, nor can they measure it!.. typical.. I'll buy for now and measure up to buy a set from somewhere.

Do you know the part number? Mx5 parts do washers for the Mx5(obviously) for about a £1.

Actually £1.24 each but they do fit every mark of Mx5 from 89 to the present so a standard Mazda parts bin part perhaps.

hahah you're not going to believe this, when I asked for part number, he would not give it, cant give out numbers (sounded like washer is made of some top secret material) .

In afternoon when i have a few mins I may ring another branch to find out part number.

Thanks for the link.

An update, the place i bought the calipers from (online) supplied me with some washers, measured it up and they are exact measurements of m10 copper washers which I bought from ebay for backup. Just incase anyone else stumbles on this.!
