Which Toyota Camry engine is the best?

I am hoping to buy a 2002 or thereabouts Toyota Camry
Of the 3 litre V6 and the 2.4 straight 4 which is the better engine?

Hi Sonic Shadow.
I am interested to know why you say that? Is it a lot smoother than the 4 ?
Or is there some other reason apart from the power?
