MR2 MK3 track tyres on standard rims

Hi All,

I'm looking to get a set of tyres for my MK3 facelift with the staggered 15/16" wheels. I'm after a track focused tyre and thinking of going for Nankang NS2-R's. I'm just wondering what sizes will be OK on the standard rims, if anyone could help, that would be appreciated.

I guess I'm stuck with 195/50 R15 fronts, but are 225/45 R16 OK for the rear?
