Sports pack plus includes 21 inch forged wheels, rear wheel steering, LSD, active rear spoiler and carbon roof. Probably some other stuff I can't remember...

I also went for the metallic white which I believe shows the incredible body details.
Mine is the Sport version with 21inch wheels, carbon fibre roof and sports seats. I borrowed a base model from the dealer and could not feel any improvement in ride with the smaller wheels and I don’t like the glass roof as much. For me the sports seats are very good for adjustment and comfort.
My dealer had sold a couple of models when I spoke to them in October to buy mine as at the current prices these are an absolute bargain for the package you get.
I have experienced ,at times, the sticking fuel flap so would appreciate details of any revised design and availability from the owner above.
I have the Mark Levinson sound system and it is better than the Bose I had in a Porsche and a bit better than the Harmon Karden in the BMW.

The new design has a much stronger spring action to push the flap open. There weren't any available in the UK when my car was serviced a few weeks ago, so going to wait until April/May next year and have it replaced then , plus arrange to have the Apple CarPlay upgrade too if its available.

Thanks Riverside.
My dealer was going to replace the solenoid but it started working properly so I deferred it.However,it does partially open sometimes so I will follow up your comments. They did not seem aware of this revision.
How many miles does yours have?

its a 2017 model with 15k now. I don't believe its the solenoid, but the spring acting to push open the flap. I have a wash sponge stuffed in the flap now to provide some 'spring" and it opens no problem for now.

Forgot to mention above, but we find the touchpad nav easy enough to use once you get used to it.

Riverside. The spring,or lack of one,is presumably inside the rear wing panel where the flap hinges so I wonder if the whole painted flap gets replaced and the dealer has to strip the interior rear side panel to get to it.
I will try your temporary cure.

Yes, thats my guess, it's sprung via the hinge. Not sure how its replaced, but hopefully not too intrusive!

Been watching second hand stock at dealers. Nothing selling are they difficult to shift? Lexus dealer stock looks over priced compared to trade in values seems dealers are loading over £10k margin which puts me off even looking as they are not even making that on a new car. A £53k car has a trade value of £39k !!

When I bought my LC500 recently,I spoke to a number of dealers about their stock but most were not prepared to reduce the screen prices by more than a very small amount. This is a high end car and dealers are not offered huge discounts by Lexus to pre reg or put extra demo units on,like BMW and others do.The used stock is used as their demo in some cases and replaced when that car sells. The intimated trade in values I checked out were not as bad as the figure you quote and it will always depend on whether it’s a cash trade or px.
I missed out on a couple of cars which dealers had taken in but sold before advertising.I limited my interest to 18 and 68 plate cars as some of the 17 plates for sale are ex launch vehicles which I am sure are fine but I wanted a newer one.
I reckon a hard bargaining will be better now as it’s a very slow time of the year for dealers of expensive cars.
To put it in perspective, just look at the depreciation on BM etc and that’s after massive new car incentives. My M2 Comp was a good example.

Thank you for the feedback. Agree the white looks best. Will see what happens to prices in Jan and Feb. Just had a look at a friends trade guide for prices and confirmed my research through WBAC so I guess if not much movement by dealers on price I sadly might have to look at other options

Good luck with your search. If you drive one you may just go for it anyway!
I don’t think WBAC is worth looking at with specialist cars. They were way down on both my M4 and M2C. My trader friend says it needs a bit more leg work to get a good trade bid on these type of cars but there will be a dealer wanting to purchase as they have such huge appeal to people who know what they are and don’t want the usual suspects from the German manufacturers.

Went into local dealer and had a look at their demo. First time I have sat in one. It was a limited edition in yellow with yellow:cream interior. Must say quality of interior was excellent. Next step will be to have a test drive. Surprised given size of car that the rear seats are only really for kids.

I assume the yellow limited edition is the Hybrid car at Tunbridge.
I had a Hybrid LC500 for a 3 day demo and really liked it but after driving the V8 decided it was the only way for me.
Would be very surprised if the dealers were not up for a good reduction to sell some stock in January, especially as some of it has been on sale a while.

Yes it was the TW car. When I test one it will be the V8. Been watching the second hand stock nothing much moving. Some dealers reducing prices.

I think the blue was a limited edition.
When I bought mine a couple of months ago,I decided the red or white were my chosen colours with either black only or black/red upholstery. As it turned out, choice was limited and although I bid on a red car the dealer would not provide enough discount and so I ended up with my white car, which I think looks superb with just black leather/alcantara.
There are several nice looking cars currently on offer at both main dealers and other dealers.
I saw a yellow car locally the other day and that looked good as well.
