Mine is a 60th Anniversary edition and unlike my Skyline think I'm going to mod this one! Apparently there's a supercharger kit available
Any updates on this??, I'm rather curious.to save you looking it up:

I believe there is a factory supercharged version of the Crown Athlete.

Collected it just before Easter and I am smitten. It's an excellent all rounder and can do both the smooth cruising and being a yobbo very well. Electric everything and it all works (except the radio but looking back it seems that the previous owner dicked around with the stereo so not endemic of the car, I've just been unlucky). When pressing on it's very quick and the shift is nice and smooth (triptronic is good aswell) steering is good but lacking in ultimate feel however the chassis feels good in the driving I've done. I believe there is a factory supercharged version of the Crown Athlete.
Not that I bought it for it but the mpg is very good, it's a Lexus underneath so 30mpg ish is my average, went to Southampton-Lydden Hill-Southampton on half a tank and spend 90% of it on cruise control.
Only criticism, the cruise can be a bit dim-witted but my only comparison is my Jag which only did smooth well, the rest of that car was garbage.
I'm going to JDMCombe on Saturday if you're around my car will be there and you can take a closer look, will be polishing up the pearl paint on friday night

I can't find that this one (S180) came from the factory with a supercharger however the next gen S200 did http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/CR...

See - https://www.modellista.co.jp/press/2008/0218_crown...The same +M supercharger option was offered in the second generation Mark X.

You can even modellista the current Crown, not sure it does much for the performance mind: https://toyota.jp/crown/customize/modellista2/?pad...The same +M supercharger option was offered in the second generation Mark X.
