A mate of mine has one of these which is limited (electronically?)to about 125MPH.

Does anybody know of any northern based specialists which can remove this?

Don't know of anyone up north who can do it but it shouldn't be too difficult to track someone down. Any decent jap grey importer should be able to help - try Ralliart in Dudley.

If the 180 kmh limiter is cutting in at an indicated 125 mph this may suggest your friend's speedo is overreading.

fensport www.fensport.co.uk sell a delimiter that gets round this. all part of japan's strange 180kph limiting...

when i put a uk speedo into mine (MR2) it cut at about 122mph - a little speedo error (original speedo was pretty much spot on). better reading over than under though!
