Welcome to see/hear for yourself if you want to. I'm on Hampshire/Berkshire border.
Thanks for that. I would be interested in hearing it.
How about next Sunday (3rd) around 1100hrs at somewhere like Lasham or Blackbushe?
Both have cafes so good for a coffee meet?
Maybe @Jules Sunley could come along as well - be good to see three in the same place...
Hi pewe, and thanks for the message I've just seen. Would be a lovely idea but I'm out Sunday morning already and won't be back until later pm. Next time though though let me know again and with a bit more notice I'll blank out the diary. Cheers

No problem. Just to say if any other E60/61 owners want to drop by Dave and I will be meeting in the car-park at the Pathfinder (ex-Bushe) Cafe, Blackbushe GU17 9LQ at 1100 on Sunday. If the cafe car-park is full there's plenty of parking closer to the control tower
The more the merrier - see you there??

Apologies to anyone who dropped down to the Pathfinder and no sign of Dave or I - we postponed it at the last minute due to illness.
We are intent on meeting up in the near future but I'm going to suggest we switch to the Flight Deck at Lasham as a mate reported Blackbushe was rammed yesterday. There are some great driving roads around Lasham so even better.
Anyone up for the meet - probably May 1st??

A bit late I know but anyone up for a coffee and natter this Sunday?
I was thinking of the cafe at Lasham but it's shut.
Maybe The Departure Lounge in Alton GU34 4BH @ 1100hrs?
See you there?
BTW I've just had a new stainless exhaust fitted - now sounds like a proper V8!

The ex-Seymour Pope 31k import is now for sale and at £13,750 seems reasonable to me. The owner seems to be joining the ranks of Jules Sunley & co, declaring that he is purchasing a B5.

Are there any B5 touring for sale?

He states that he has just bought a "new Alpina B5" so perhaps it isn't an E61.

Won't be an E61, met up with one of fellow owners last weekend. Other than us there is the Scottish car but when I spoke to a friend of the owner a while back he said he couldn't see him ever selling (the guy himself doesn't do forums etc). That just leaves the B5S and Sam wouldn't be selling after all the work he had done. As per the ad it sounds like a new or newer car and could be a saloon too as doesn't mention replacement being a Touring.

See you both in the morning. I wonder what the collective noun for fast tourings is biggrin

Nice to meet both Dave and yourself, Jules.
Good pics & natter.
I reckon a "pack" is a collective of 550i's - after "wolf in sheep's clothing"?
I've pencilled in Pinewood Cafe, Wokingham RG40 3AQ for 1100hrs Sunday June 12th - does that sound OK?
Any other E60/61 550i owners fancy coming?
