Hi Helicopter

Sorry a bit late coming to this, but for what it's worth here's my recent experience with the spec on my 335d.

Pro Nav/media. It's a must have for all the reasons people have said. IIRC, you can spec pro plus which also adds HUD (which I wouldn't be without) plus HK audio.

Adaptive Lights. Do it. Just do it. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. I'm looking forward to the winter so it's dark again just so I can use the adaptive lights. I drive on a fair amount of unlit country roads and I was dubious of the cost/benefit, but I'd pay more next time f I have to. Simply the best headlights I've ever seen plus the adaptive features - auto high beam, seeing round corners and above all else the wizardry that controls the high beam when it is on is awesome. Watch videos on youtube. Did I already say just do it.

Wouldn't be without heated seats and steering wheel. I spec'd them in the back also and very happy I did.

Keyless Entry. I like it, but I know lots of people who think it's pointless. I've got used to having it on previous cars and would now miss it.

Adaptive Suspension. I actually think the ride is better with sport setting, but I haven't put the ACS springs on. I think it's a good option.

Surround View. I don't have it and really wish I did since experiencing it on a loaner, but this is mainly because I hate trashing my Alloys.

Sport Plus - I like the big wheels and how they look, especially if you put ACS springs on.

Cruise Control - I have the one with the radar (can't recall the name) and if you are going to do motorway work I think you would too. On a previous car (camera based cruise) it was a bit dim because you'd pull out behind a car that was passing you and it would panic and hit the brakes, but the radar based system knows if the car in front is moving away from you and hence doesn't over react.

Hope this helps. Marbles.

I should have added that was a physical rehab centre for my mum, not a drink/drugs rehab for me!

Hi my 330d is an ex-demonstrator and has the head-up display. I thought it was a waste of time until I started using it. Speed, all warnings and sat-nav instructions are projected onto the screen, it's the most useful extra on the car, apart from the heated seats that keep the wife happy.

Cheers

I fold my mirrors to reduce the chance of them being damaged when the car's parked but being honest I could live without that function. However, one thing I'd really miss is the facility for the passenger door mirror to dip-down and look at the kerb or white lines when parking so do the standard electric mirrors do that? If they do I'd agree the folding mirrors probably aren't worth the extra but if they don't folding mirrors are nice to have IMO!
You need the switch flicked a certain way, select reverse and it dips
