Another reason might be to protect car from growing tide of 'diesel hate'?

With so many about, this should be enough to avoid making yourself a target should the idiots start trying to make a point.

I am 2nd owner of my F11 520d. That be the touring model.

I presume the 1st owner ordered it de-badged.

Could not care less if it was badged or de-badged to be honest.

I bought the car on the basis that it was metallic, was an estate, had the larger sat-nav screen, had flappy paddle gear-changers and a panaromic sunroof.
