Try different dealer?

I had my rear diff bush replaced twice and both front control arms & bushes replaced under my AUC. All found by my dealer, all showing signs of ''excessive wear'' and all replaced FOC to me.

I was over the moon, and never noticed a difference - i just put it down to a quiet week in the workshop for them and BMW UK being a bit of a cash cov!

Very impressed & very happy all the same. smile

My car, at 105k miles had a binding rear caliper. I battered on about it being a safety issue since it was shaking the whole car, and they took some convincing. But they eventually changed the brake pads, discs and caliper under warranty.

So yours should be much easier, Moan louder.

Just thought I'd follow up with this for completeness.

Took the car for MOT at sytner, no advisories. I told the service guy about the knocking sound, he initially said it was nothing but after some persuasion I got the car booked in for an inspection the following week.

Dealt with a different service guy this time, the inspection found both top mounts slight play and one diff seal slightly perished causing oil to weep out, I instantly thought the words "slight" and "minor" constantly being used would result in them saying not covered, however both covered by AUC warranty - result!

Later the following day I got a call saying when they were changing the diff seal, they noticed the other side was on it's way as well and asking if it was alright to keep the car another day any change that as well - I accepted that ofc.

So overall I got both mounts, both diff seals and oil replaced, wheels aligned, taxi to and from work twice all paid for.. pretty happy with that smile

Now wondering whether to extend to the mondial warranty or take my chances... scratchchin

And yet my f10 diff seal is only "misting" so is not covered. Am arguing that ofc.

Glad you got your car sorted anyway! The warranty is golden. It's the dealers who are sh*t.

I do wonder if it depends how many claims they've put through that month/week or something?
