Ok, I had a alpina suspension on my old e91 320d and assumed the kit is what was fitted to the syntner imported e9x alpinas.
Sytner said the the bmw dampers were re valved by alpina but there is lots of contradicting information on the internet.
What is clear is that it wasnt bog standard se suspension on either the d3 or b3.
A drive in my SE on 19’s will show you how rolly polly this set up is.

NOot that I'm in here very much but i'm leaving for good as of Monday. Copart are picking my 325 up after some numpty sideswiped me 14 months ago as the Ins Co have finally paid out on it.
Anything worth 'keeping' out of it to pass on to someone who still has one? things like the roof rack or Unused Gearbox and diff oil?
Maybe the rear parcel shelf?

14 months!? I was sick of seeing mine sat on the drive for the five weeks before it was uplifted!Anything worth 'keeping' out of it to pass on to someone who still has one? things like the roof rack or Unused Gearbox and diff oil?
Maybe the rear parcel shelf?
The rear parcel shelf also fits early X3's so it's definitely worth retaining. That and the roof rack will always go for £50+ each on Gumtree/Facebook Marketplace, especially with all the bikes people bought during lockdown!
Can spare keys be recoded? My new E91 purchase only came with one key but I dread finding out how much BMW would like for a spare.
I'm actually racking my head just now trying to think of what bits I could do with but my own car came pretty complete in good condition apart from the BMW tool kit missing a few items.

If it isn't nailed on, take it!
Cupholder mechanism? Toolkit? First aid kit?
I'd take all the bulbs as well, but I'm tight like that.

The clips that cover the isofix mounts in the back always seem to go missing but not sure if they’re valuable.

echoing the 'what colour is it' request, as there are a few things on my sapphire black m-sport that I'd rather were tidier... what's the roof rack?

Finally managed to get a picture to be able to post up here.
After 10 years or so of driving mainly 2litre diesels with a mini cooperS thrown into the mix it is quite a change to be in something that doesn't have that usual 'shove' as the turbo spools up and you come onto boost.
Done a couple of hundred miles in it so far and other than being far thirstier than i'm used to I'm loving it.
Got quite a few options on it too which makes a change from my usual poverty spec cars. Adaptive Xenons are amazing although I've got to say the reception for the stereo is rubbish. I listen to Heart London and i'm constantly having to switch it between the 3 different versions of Heart it can find and even then I find sometimes none of them are very good.

Noooooo, that must have got smashed into only a couple of months after i fixed the engine/sold it to you
Spec wise, it was very highly optioned, so id try and remove as much as possible
Adaptive xenons - they might notice the headlights missing to be fair
Logic 7 audio - take the amp at least
CCC Nav - take the headunit out, place the button panel back on, they'll never know its not there
Split front armrest - deffo whip that off
Electric/lumbar front seats, see if someone wants to swop in their manual ones, unless the airbags went off naturally
Rear parcel shelf, these are worth good money iirc
TCU & MULF - whip them both out the boot, they are under the boot carpet
Wood interior trim - remove it
Electric folding mirrors - id probably have them as well

Hi everyone - OP here.
Been out of here for a lot of the year, a lot has happened in my life, getting back into the swing of things/life. Not done much to my E91 this year, but she's still going strong. Currently sitting at a healthy 55.3mph average over the last 8-10k miles and now on 222k miles (annoying missed the 222,222 odo money shot!). Have fitted a new prop centre bearing, rebuilt my rear calipers with new OE discs and pads (including shoes) and a respray, and I have 340mm BMW brembo 4 pots fitted on the front from a F32 435i (required minimal trimming of the dust shield to fit - otherwise factory!) - it all balances nicely and braking is sublime!
I'll post a handful of photos and stuff, and I wanna at least catch up with this thread.

Hi Tim - don't wanna seem like a vulture and I am genuinely sorry for your E91, but I'm in mid Suffolk and I would love to relieve you of a few bits of your car and guarantee them a good home! Please PM me, and I'm sure I can help Anything worth 'keeping' out of it to pass on to someone who still has one? things like the roof rack or Unused Gearbox and diff oil?

Currently got 2 X E91 in the household. Excellent cars. Originally had the 320d (boo) as a runaround while we were renovating. But the engine bored me to tears so I picked up a 335i manual and passed the 320d onto the Mrs.
Hadn't realised just how rare a manual E91 335i was at first. It does just what I need it to do, family duties but with a decent turn of pace. Helpfully the previous owner covered off alot of the big jobs about 10k ago (turbos, clutch, brakes, OFHG). It's been pretty good for me tbh just covering off maintenance (full service inc plugs, coils, brake fluid) & tyres.
Think it's with me for the long term now as bloody hard to beat for the money. LCI exterior retrofit (exc roof bars & mirrors) and M359s on the horizon I think.

big brakes sound intersting indeed. Do they still fit under 17 inch wheels?
