Yes, I got that recall job done on my E91 in 2018, then found it was outstanding on my E90 when I bought it in 2019 so got that one done too.

I read somewhere that some 1 Series models are now getting a recall for the same problem.

Proud new owner of an E91 2011 335i - only 24k miles. Absolutely love it.
Goes well with my Z4M. 2 very different cars, equally great to drive for different reasons biggrin
I’ll be getting the E46 sorted and up for sale shortly, which has also been a joy to own.

I saw this advertised and was waiting to see the inside photos as it seemed and interesting spec. Exterior colour is great.
Purchased my new E91 a few weeks before this popped up, had I of been in the market still I too would have tried to jump on it.
Do you have any interior pics?

Wife drove the 630i to work today and it decided to play up with a misfire + EML.

Code reader suggests misfire in cylinder 1.

Could be spark plug - but those were only changed 10k ago. Alternatively coils or injectors.

Re coils for the N52 - I notice ECP have options for Bosch or Delphi. Which is considered the best?

The NGK plugs are about £9.50 from GSF.

Had a look, with discount codes, £10.69 for the NGK @ GSF, £8.12 for the Bosch @ ECP.

There's ECP near where my wife works, done a click and collect and she'll get the bits on the way home.

Fingers crossed it's just the spark plug and/or coil. I did 8 hours in the 630i over the weekend with no issues and also drove it to work and back Monday and Tuesday. Typically it started playing silly buggers on the first occasion my wife's driven it in ages. rolleyes

99% it’ll be a coil.

He's good. smile

Last time I lost a cylinder to a misfire, I was able to pull over, clear the codes with Carly, and then be back on my way. Nothing has come up since thankfully, but I will probably replace the coil packs soon.

Had a 4 wheel alignment done a few weeks ago, going back shortly to have the steering wheel straightened.
Noticed the car was aligned to standard specifications.. From what I can tell the sport specifications is just increased camber, as the car is used mostly on motorways is it at all worth having it done to the sport specs or leaving it as is.
I know the sports like to wear tyres on the inside.

thanks

I've had mine (MSport) done to spec 3 times over the years (sadly the Infiniti garage is no more, and they were good). It was always worth it. And I've never had any problems with excessive wear on the inside shoulders.

Nothing special to be honest and high-ish price. Spec is pretty basic (unheated SE seats, no xenons, basic stereo), has the N52 engine by the looks of things (good) but autobox with no flappy paddles (bad). Add in reasonably high miles, some marks and scuffs and budget tyres and I would say there is much better to be had out there. It does have the best E90 wheel design though! (IMO)

Yeah, spec is basic. iDrive may be more of an annoyance than a helpful feature tbh. Looks like Contis on the front, Runway tyres on the rear. Strong money for a mediocre spec SE imo.

Thanks for the reply guys. Seems 330i’s are pretty thin on the ground. What do you think would be fair market price for that?

Two manuals on eBay:

N52, highish mileage, quite basic spec, but the alcantara interior counts in its favour for me. Misspelled advert is a bit offputting, although it seems well cared for. The price seems on the high side.

N53, quite a good spec (shame about the lack of xenons). I'm sure it was on with the same dealer last year.

Agreed. The Alcantara interior is really quite nice. Cloth fan here.

Rear wiper is probably broken though as they normally point the other way.

Quite a nice spec here with pan roof, xenons, heated electric sports seats and rare professional sound system (think that is what it is). Looks a bit tatty here and there and not a fan of great leather myself (especially with silver!?) but interesting nonetheless.
