I know it's probably been done before, but I can't see anything recently, so thought I'd ask.

I get the new (to me) F80 M3 this weekend, handing the M2 back after four months' ownership. I see that several firms offer tuning packages based on re-programming / replacing the ECU, without needing to replace any (or many) other components.

Can anyone recommend who to go to for a "stage 1" tune? It looks as though 500bhp+ is easily achievable, which is probably enough for me.

Browsing the tuner's sites I can't find any prices, and the couple that I tried to contact haven't got back to me.

500bhp. Are you sure?

Child seats weigh a lot these days...

I found one with one of those throttles that don't just have on and off, so hopefully that'll help.

I only swapped my C63 out a few months ago, I fancy a step up in performance from that. Nice though the M2 was, it just didn't feel that fast.

I think Evolve have a ECU product, ACS do an expensive tuning box but it comes with a warranty to replace the one you'll lose.

Can fully recommend Litchfield, service was great and the car feels outstanding. Much more power and delivery, and holy smokes its made it even quicker!

The springs and spacers have also given the car a much nicer look and the handling (so far) feels really good. I'll pop some picks up later after she has had a wash.

Car looks great, don't forget to let your insurance know about the power and springs.
