2017 M3 CP. Suddenly yesterday the Deezer service won't allow me to search for or download new music. Just says 'Service not available'. Tried logging out and back in to Deezer on iDrive. Tried Update in iDrive. No joy.

Anyone had a similar experience?

I got a new (to me) 640D yesterday and tried setting up the £1 free trial for Online Entertainment. I'm getting the same error but with Napster so must be something at the BMW end.

I've used it before in other cars so do know how it should work. I will see if it starts working today and perhaps you can let me know if yours comes back before I call the helpline smile

I cant renew my RTTI or remote online either, something wrong at BMW Germany i was told by BMW UK.

I've noticed the details in the menu say the data for the online entertainment is with 3 UK. I thought it used to be through EE?

Mine packed up on Monday. Not worked all week! I can’t even buy from store as it just keeps saying erro.

This is an error Deezer and BMW are aware off.

Just so frustrating when neither BMW connected drive or Deezer do not email its users when they have an issue.

It could be coincidence that there was a recent update to the Deezer App.

They have promised me an email update when the problems have been solved.

There is an issue with connected drive services. Some of mine have run out and the web site will not let me renew them. I am really missing real time traffic info. This has been going on for at least two weeks in my knowledge.

I have spoken twice to connected drive support. They say that they are aware of the issue but they have had no response from Germany.

I have also spoken to my BMW garage. They are aware of the issue and say it is world-wide. BMW has advised them that there is no expected date yet for it to be resolved.

For the cost involved better upgrading to Spotify for the year on premium and synching from phone.

BMW have xonfirmed it's down with no date for it being reinstated.

Shower of ste and the third problem with the car within 6 months.

Won't be buying another BMW for a while.

I really liked online entertainment when I had it but it was a bit hit and miss sometimes so I didn't renew, my subscription was with Napster.

BMW and Deezer are allegedly going to e-mail me when this issue has been solved.
I received an e-mail from BMW on Friday saying Germany are aware of the issue however the fix is more complicated than was first thought................ We will get back in to you once we have timescales on a fix.

Do we know exactly when it went down? Is there any scope to claiming an extension on subscriptions for lack of service do you think?

Ive asked for 6months free on RTTI. BMW are looking into it.

I spoke to BMW yesterday and apparently this has now been fixed.

To get the update you need to go into the idrive, select connected drive, click the physical options button next to the controller and select update bmw services on screen.

I have tried the above and it worked for me

I see that a number of people have mentioned that this issue has been fixed, but for me this has been ongoing for over 2 months. BMW are fully aware and have now escalated this to Germany to review, although I am not sure of the urgency as I stated earlier this has been going on for quite some time now?

In summery I had a Deezer subscription for my BMW 430, this enabled me to also use the Deezer service at home - so my biggest gripe is that whilst I have no doubt that this is indeed being investigated in Germany, I am without Deezer/music online at home and on my iPhone, which is beyond frustrating.

Is anyone else still experiencing (new or existing) issues with connection or reconnection to the BMW Deezer service via connected drive , BMW informs me I am not the only one, but it certainly feels like it?
