That's a gorgeous colour - shame about the non leather.
It's a sight better quality and more durable than any E39 leather except for the very rare NappaI bought this jap import 528i off eBay for £600. Amazingly everything worked - almost. It was rust free having only been in the UK for about a year. Best car I've ever bought and I still miss it. Blog here -

My E39 M5, bought it 10 years ago yesterday. Best all round car I've ever had by far.
Lots of preventative maintenance and retrofit of various OEM options over the years.
Full respray
Epoxy underside protection as the standard finish is not really up to it
I like Alcantara and the standard boot material is horrid, so Alcantara boot
and headlining
Integrated child seats when the kids were younger, although they've been returned to standard now
Radar detector concealed in the rear view mirror
Paint protection film on the front
Plus lots of other bits and pieces.
Couple of track days too

Amazing and privileged to have your car in the thread!Hopefully all E39 owners have read your entire 'build' thread wherever it is (forum5 possibly?) I know I have a while back and you must have the nicest M5 in the country if not the world!
