F11 Tailgate strip to fit reversing camera.

Evening All,

I have a 2011 F11 Touring, I have fitted an Android head unit, with DAB and Reversing Camera.

For the life of me, I can not get the tailgate trip out to allow me to fit the camera.

I have googled and searched various forums, there is loads on the F10 saloon, but naff all on the F11. I have found some BMW images for trim removal, but it docent seem to work????

Has anyone done this?

I'm sorry I've not done this but I'm super interested to find out what your experience of the android head unit is. I have the cooking nav, no cameras etc and this is a very cheap upgrade and adds Google Maps and Waze which would mean I don't have to use my phone anymore!

Sorry dsgrnmcm, did you install your Android screen and camera into your car in the end? Any experience you can share about the fitting and the experience of the software and integration into the car greatly appreciated! I did a ton of searching on these units and have found very few (like none!) reviews of the newer generation Android devices. I suspect they don't work that well but I'd love to be proven wrong!
