E39 Coding in Kent / London
Discussion
I've got INPA for diagnostics and then NCS Expert and NCS Dummy for the coding bit.
What I did was buy an old windows XP laptop off facebook marketplace for £25. Freshly formatted.
You can get the cable and software from here.

It does take some messing about but I managed to get it all working the other day. I know have the MPH readout on the dash and coded comfort open/close off the key fob. Which is handy in the convertible.
Main reason for getting it is I think my battery is starting to show signs giving up the ghost so it means I can change that and register/code it myself. Plus it'll obviously come in handy for when the injectors start playing up or when something else decides to stop working.
