Q1 support is out. BMW added almost £2k, total a smudge under £9k now. Base 340 is 39,700. TRL usually beats that by 1k so call it sub 39k before options.

Any chance of explaining that in plain English? confused

Previous support was all in 7,110. It’s now about 9k. TOny Lewis, the bmw deal king usually betters those support numbers.

Yep - and no requirement to take finance, which is unusual.

I am going to go for it. I think this looks like a really nice car.

As far as I can see the M340i is £48,555 base. As others said there was an offer of a £1500 pcp deposit contribution. It sounds like this has been withdrawn but better discounts are available. Is that right?

It’s a bit tricky as I’m trying to do this on a cruise ship with crap WiFi.

Broad speed is the typical baseline. You can do better than their quotes. Their price is 39,698 net of discounts, I.e circa 9k. Sub 39k is achievable. Partridge Southampton are offering for 41k. You can do better

Try Autoebid - they were cheapest when I looked online.

Although he hasn't published his Q1 offers online as yet if you e-mail TRL (TRLdeals@outlook.com) I think you'll find he's a touch cheaper! wink

Also, looking at the Autoebid website it doesn't look entirely accurate; for example, it seems to be listing colours against the M340i Touring that aren't available on the BMW configurator while ones that are on the BMW site aren't showing on Autoebid. It's also obliging you to bundle some options together in a way the BMW configurator doesn't (e.g. when I specced merino leather it added the HK hi-fi which doesn't happen on the BMW site!).

However, those minor anomalies aside, their pricing looks competitive - not heard of them before so thanks for sharing!

They’re not cheapest on everything so obviously check them all out. Agreed on TRL

Looks about right. Lease cost comparable with a 50% rv

Oops missed off the 9 months up front. So cheaper to buy than lease.

I think they have plugged in the standard three series colours in error. I have not used them but they were quite responsive and helpful when I made an enquiry, so I am sure that could be sorted out.

Well, looks like I won’t be getting a new 340 to replace my current one.

£770 / mnth with 2k deposit is best price from broker or my local dealer, which, as much as it’ll be a nice car is just a ridiculous amount IMO.

I’m paying £300 per month less for the 340 I drive now and put down 1k deposit at the time.

What kind of spec are you looking at, as that's massively more expensive than anything I have seen?

Yes, it’s high spec, around £10k options, but so was my previous 340. It’s essentially equivalent spec as that was, except I’ve added individual paint (which I could live without) and tow bar (which I couldn’t).

So circa 2k more options than my previous 340, but £300 a month more. No chance unfortunately.

Here is Sratstones deal-without options.

Tony Lewis is posting his offer next week. It will be a little bit better most likely.

my math says, with the above +10k options and 2k down= £670/month. Im assuming the GFV will jump to 22k with the options. Still a lot of cash. It's the options that kill it.

Adding 10k worth of options is always going to be expensive and not really needed, 5k worth gives you the tech/comfort/vis/surround view packs which is more than enough on a car like this.

That's going to depend on the options chosen. Some of the in demand options will add a little to the GFV, and options like individual paint you won't see any return on. Even adding 10k worth of options is only likely to add a thousand at most to the value 4 years down the line. If you are going to fully load the car, it's usually better to see if you can find something that will offer everything you want as standard.
