Thought this might suit me Springtime next year when my 2015 3 Series Touring is due to be replaced but sadly a limited range and not a hatchback.

Thanks for the intro to the thread. Have to wait and see what it looks like in the flesh. BMW salesman did say he's seen one and it looks better than the photographs. Hmmmm!

That wouldn’t too hard though would it! hehe

I think in general their latest ‘styling’ is heading in a very dubious direction.

Thought this was coming out at the perfect time for me to replace the 1 Series Coupé, as I could do with 4 doors and a slightly bigger boot. This looks around the right size and I don't mind the styling too much.

However, Front Wheel Drive and 4 cylinders?

No. No. No.
Actually I think you only get 3 cylinders - unless you buy the M235i model, which I think has RWD as well!

M235i is XDrive so 4WD, only other choices are 218i and 220D as far as I can see. What is this all about? Where is 220i and 230i choices? Dreadful marketing.

There will be a 2 series COUPE coming with 3 ltr rear drive according to babybmw forum
