it seems perfectly adequate but if there are genuine improvements to be made without breaking the bank, I like to investigate.
being my first BMW I don't have the luxury of experience for comparison.
There does however seem to be a huge amount of swing towards changing the springs to the ACS system and wondered what the current advise from seasoned BMW owners might be.

As yours is a 67 plate it's an LCI model (facelift version), BMW made amendments to the suspension when they did the facelift, this improved things significantly. The difference between the pre-facelift and facelift was fairly stark from the drives I've had in various models. It's all personal preference though, I spent ages trying to find a 340i Touring with adaptive suspension on it, found one, then promptly found that in my opinion the softer damping was too soft and the firm damping too firm, whilst the boggo MSport damping was pitched in between the two and suited me quite nicely. I've not dirven a car on ACS springs though, so can't comment on those.being my first BMW I don't have the luxury of experience for comparison.
