Hello everyone. This may be a long shot but if anyone has one of these lease deals that they are looking to get out of, I'd be interested in taking over one if possible. Open to either 128ti or M135i, mileage anything 6-10k and not fussed about inclusive servicing.

In other words, I'll consider anything.

Thanks 😀

I have a 22 plate m135i in Misano Blue. Pro pack. Servicing included. It’s immaculate having only done 1200 miles since April. I’m simply not using the car as often as I thought due to change of job.

It’s not the cheapest at £350. And it’s got another 3 years to go on the lease, but if you’re interested let me know.

Edit. Ah sorry, you wanted 6k. Mine is only 5k. Apologies 😩

The mileage is probably less of an issue if you’ve only done 1200 miles in 9 months and he is ok with 6k.
Servicing being already paid for would offset all/some of the extra mileage he needs cost wise if he was to pay for being over mileage at hand back.

May I also join the list for anyone looking to transfer out of one of these 128/135 deals early. I'm looking to run one for a year or so and it would make sense to take a short term lease, Cheers!

want to know how good the resale on these is right now?

I was 1 year into a 4 year lease with my 21 plate m135i with alphabet - i asked for a settlement figure to get out of the lease early. i was paying £343 a month and as i had 36 months remaining i was fully prepared to have my pants pulled down.

how much did they charge me to hand it back 3 years early?

£265.

This was a year ago I guess? Did you not get on with the car?

Do you have the option to transfer it?

September 2022 it went.

Car was lovely, did everything i asked of it, interior was incredible.

It just felt safe and a bit numb - petrol price increases made me bring forward my plans to get a polestar 2 (400hp) after the lease came to an end.

The polestar isn't what you'd call chuckable, being 2 tons, but the 487lb-ft and instant delivery makes it a hoot out of bends/roundabouts and away from lights and charging at home at cheap rate costs me the equivalent of 3p per mile

Sounds fair enough! Now that the m135i has been updated, what do we think is the better car between this and the 128ti?

i haven't driven the 128ti but i would say:

the 135 will be the quicker car (not by a lot) but the 128 will be rarer and more fun.

Thanks. The 128 sounds like the better all round package. It’s a second car and I’ve been considering a new Mini Cooper S, but im thinking for around 30k and a year old, an approved used 128ti would be a better proposition

I have had a lease quote as follows

128ti
Storm bay
Live cockpit pro
Sun glass
18in wheels
Standard interior

Stock car on 8k mileage, £3.5k in and £400pm. Not cheap but can it be bettered do we think?

I assume this is from Arnold Clark?
What mileage?
Have a look what sort of prices are being quoted on leasing.com and leaseloco as a comparison.
If Arnold Clark did you ask for a M135i quote?

Sorry for all the questions!!

Apologies I left out an important detail, 8k miles

This is through leaseloco. I’m more keen on a 128ti I think but leaseloco is £500pm on a stock M135i with sunroof in Skyscraper. I haven’t spoken to Arnold Clark

Ok thanks for that.
Might be worth an email to AC, see the OP in this thread for a contact name.

That same car would have been less than £300pm with 9 months down two years ago.

Yep. Which is the only thing holding me back, but those deals are long gone, for now at least.

I’ve emailed AC just for reference
