For comparison, AC are £397pm for 6+35 and 8k miles on a stock car with cockpit professional, but only
White and black cars available. So slightly cheaper over the term but base car

I have had a lease quote as follows

128ti
Storm bay
Live cockpit pro
Sun glass
18in wheels
Standard interior

Stock car on 8k mileage, £3.5k in and £400pm. Not cheap but can it be bettered do we think?

That same car would have been less than £300pm with 9 months down two years ago.
Try a 128ti 1+35, 8000pa for £298 per month. 18 months left to go on mine and dreading handing it back!

£10,728 then v £17,500 now. I assume that's a 3 year deal you are quoting.

Hi all,

How's everyone getting on with their 128ti/M135i's?

Thoroughly enjoying my 128ti. My only regret is not getting an M135i tbh. But with that being said, the 128ti has been incredible. I'm enjoying the free tyres - I think I've had 7 or 8 so far. Not joking either!

I am over my mileage massively... whooooops! 25,000 covered in 21 months (14/15 months to go). I amon 8k PA!
Thankfully the extra mileage cost isn't too outrageous.

Great car - unbelievable deal!

Only 2 complaints about my m135i:

It’s not the most fun car I ever owned. Yes it will shift but there is something lacking. It’s too clinical. I feel detached from the road. My old Civic VTi had more character.

Second is the fuel gauge. But that’s my fault 🤦‍♂️

How many miles are you getting out of a tank?

I thought it was bad enough in the 128ti!!!

All of the reviews I've read on the M135i is that they are very "safe" - sounds like you agree?

Most of the reviews at the time said that the M135i may have been the faster car but the 128ti was the better to drive and was more fun.

I think it was all about the suspension ,that suspension is now on the new M135i provided you tick passive not adaptive

I have a 22 plate m135i in Misano Blue. Pro pack. Servicing included. It’s immaculate having only done 1200 miles since April. I’m simply not using the car as often as I thought due to change of job.

It’s not the cheapest at £350. And it’s got another 3 years to go on the lease, but if you’re interested let me know.

Edit. Ah sorry, you wanted 6k. Mine is only 5k. Apologies ??

Thankfully only 3 tyres (so far). I'm the same as you in both I wished I just went for the m135 as it was probably my only chance to own an M car. Just pinged 21k on 8k need to suck up the extra cost I suppose!

Deals are pretty bleak atm I don't think we'll get the same again. I had the AC sales chap reaching out today apparently there's no option to extend.

Maybe the 8 series will get a bit more support and start to come down?!

got riid of mine after 12 months into a 4 year lease. Really enjoyed the car, looked smart, tech just worked and it was quickish and surefooted. As some said a little numb and the noise was disappointing.

My commute changed and it was costing me £600 a month in fuel so backed it and bought a Dual Motor polestar 2 instead.

Absolutely fine!
On 16.5k (2yrs old in May) from a 24k total allowance, swapped the poor Bridgestones with Pzero (star rated) at about 9/10k miles, so much better.
First service done in Dec '22, brake fluid booked in for next month.

Just bought a Fiesta ST Edition (with Mountune 260 map and parts) for me. The M135i was being shared between me and the Mrs after my M2 was sold in mid 2020 so that'll keep the mileage a bit lower on the M135i.

Leased through Arnold Clark? If so did you get hammered cost wise?

They are great cars if you just want something that does everything very well.

Mine has done 28K .

Best thing I did was to fit Pzeros much more suited to the car .

I'm now retired and with the TVR out of storage to tinker with .smile, I'll probably try and sell it.

36k miles on mine, it will be 2 years old in June. It wants a second service in 4k miles and the rear tyres are shark-toothing so I’ll be trying to get those replaced (I paid for the tyre package).

I love the car and am struggling to think what to replace it with next year.

Leased via BMW inchcape (alphabet) - the repayments were £333 a month, i was 12 months into a 48 month contract and they charged me £265 to get out of the contract!

i know right? - i was expecting to have my trousers, pants and skin pulled down to get out of that - genuinely shocked with their figure, but ripped their arm off for it biggrin

Anyone had any experience transferring an agreement with Arnold Clark?
I have 12 months left on my 3 year lease (BMW m135i), it looks like i am in for 50% of remaining term if I wish to terminate. Just exploring options as my business has opened up a salary sacrifice scheme that may make more sense going forward.
