Don’t know ST09 but I went for 5k pa as it’s no more expensive to do that and pay the excess mileage compared with opting for 10k pa. I extended my Golf R at the end of Feb last year based on 10k pa and haven’t done a single commuting mile since 23/03/20, hence my approach this time around.
csl..want to thank you for pointing that out never occured to me re no difference in mileage allowance and excess mileage charges just checked a few and nothing in it .Really solves my dilemma. Some weeks I will do 200 some 600 and was thinking I will screw myself if I go for 25k a year and only do say 18k or even do more phone work not face to face and end up on say 10k a year.Just have to make sure that money every month is safely put away to cover any excess. Thanks again because I wil need to sadly sell my now 6 year old from new f30 30d which still runs perfectly if Londons ridiculous mayor goes ahead with his october plan of extending his ulez zone money I can ill afford to spend

You’re welcome smashy! Was surprised when I ran the numbers - had expected it to be cheaper going for a higher agreed mileage.

Not sure I really need another car but I signed up for a 135 as it seemed the best deal I’ve seen in a long time - circa £100 a month cheaper than the best Mk 8 Golf R deals I’ve seen.

Just chatting.....it seems the M135i gets its 306 bhp with 98 ron.The 128ti 265bhp was done with 95 ron. On a forum a guy dynod his WRX STi which I think is around 300bhp with both 98 and 95 ron and there was a 36bhp difference. Maybe BMW are using smoke and mirrors to keep the differential more than it is.The way the 128ti smokes the vw gti in a youtube drag race makes you wonder.

Just had an update from Arnold Clark that my M135i is now ETA at the dealer in late May (instead of mid July), this is inline with what wkd has found out for his when he got hold of the order number and went direct to BMW.

I don’t think you can go off another car and how much power is dropped between 95 and 98 (what vintage is the WRX?).

The 128ti and GTI video could just show how much better traction off the line the 128ti has (tyres, diff, even side of the road might make a difference). A rolling race would of been a better indication and takes out the variables.

I’ve also had an update from AC saying that my car will be delivered at the end of May which suits me down to the ground

Still mid June for me.

I am moving from a 330e hybrid (with fuel card) to this when it arrives, does anybody know if fuel economy is likely to be much worse please? I never charge the 330e and always use Petrol and can get around 40mpg on a 75 mile run that I do fairly regularly mainly motorway and dual carriageway.

Yup, same here. Had an email from AC saying May delivery, which aligns with my cars production start date W/c 19th April. I have asked Lynn to hold on delivery plans until July / Aug, as current situation means we are ok with 1 car. AC fine with this.

Update today still on for mid June. Tony I’ve done a little research on economy for 135i. Similar to your 330e figures on motorway in eco mode. Urban is around 27-30 mpg according to existing owners.

My Cupra interior looks naff compared to this. I was never a fan of those alloys but they actually look decent.

I've not managed to find much, I was hoping they would be more or less the same if driven fairly sensibly (most of the time).

Tony Angelino, this video might give an idea of what to expect for mpg etc: https://youtu.be/QRsbmWwMOSA

I got the good news email today too saying mid-May for arrival at the dealership instead of mid-June, and also saying to allow time for preparation of car and preparation for delivery. I'm hoping to see the car early June.

Does anyone have any idea how these deals work with regards to private plates? Are we able to put our plates on then take them off before we return them or with it being PCH do they not allow them to be changed?
Thanks

24th March I placed mine and I’m being told the 1st week in August... hoping it will be sooner so going off yours it could be.

You can add a private plate but as with most lease deals this will be done through the lease company, or in this case Arnold Clark.

Likely to incur an admin fee. But still doable.

Worth asking nonetheless

Thanks, just watched it. Seems like it's roughly the same as what I am getting now so that should be OK for me and allow me ample opportunity to enjoy it as well!
